Giorgia Meloni is confirmed as the most popular political leader in Italy. This is indicated by the Eumetra survey. In fact, the Prime Minister receives the approval of a relative majority (42.7 percent) of respondents, surpassing all other politicians considered. Of course, Meloni receives more approval from the center-right electorate: however, it is curious to note that 11 percent of voters for the PD and 14 percent of those for the Five Star Movement also say they like her. Right after in the popularity ranking, however, comes a member of the opposition, namely Giuseppe Conte, leader of the Five Star Movement, who receives only a few fewer endorsements than the Prime Minister (41 percent). Conte especially gets many positive evaluations (48 percent) among young people up to 35 years old. Indeed, among respondents in this age group, he emerges as the absolute most touted and popular politician. Still, the 5-Star leader also receives wide support (35 percent) among those who say they are undecided on what to vote for or intent on abstaining. PD secretary Elly Schlein ranks with 28.5 percent, the third most popular.
