Half of Italian workers (48 percent) already use artificial intelligence to write emails and posts on social networks, and 53 percent also believe it is the biggest opportunity for their future work. The figure emerges from "Future of work”, the latest research by ServiceNow, a global leader in digital workflows. The study reveals how a large proportion of Italian workers are convinced that artificial intelligence will help in the performance of their work. According to respondents, the creation of Excel files is destined to be the task most entrusted to artificial intelligence; in fact, 80 percent have already used it or plan to use it for this purpose. This is followed by reviewing documents (77 percent) and drafting emails or social media posts (75 percent, 48 percent already use it). 51 percent also believe artificial intelligence will increase workforce productivity, but that the key to successful implementation relies on clear interpretations and information. Currently three out of ten people do not understand how generative AI could support them in their role (31%), and 43% admit they lack the technical skills needed to work with AI systems.
