From next January 13, until the 23rd of the same month, Turin and its snow-capped mountains will host the Winter Universiade. The event was presented today at the European Parliament in Strasbourg by Piedmontese MEP Alessandro Panza, a member of Lega. This edition will see Paralympic athletes compete with able-bodied athletes for the first time. At the Euro Chamber, the Flame of Knowledge, of which CUS Torino is the custodian, was symbolically lit, and this was followed by the inauguration of an exhibition on the World University Winter Games that will run until December 14, a continuation of a busy program leading up to the Turin Universiade.
