Zlatan Ibrahimovic has rejoined AC Milan. After finishing his playing career with the Rossoneri, the former Swedish striker returns 'on the pitch' for the Diavolo as Senior Advisor to the Ownership. "He will be working closely with Gerry Cardinale in the coming months and years," the club's parent company, RedBird, announced. Ibra will serve as a special advisor to the company's owners and executives. The Swede arrives at an opportune time: the team coached by Stefano Pioli is one step away from elimination in the first round of the Champions League and has lost distance to league leaders Inter after Saturday's setback against Atalanta. Ibra is one of the most recognizable football players in the world. He left his imprint on every team he played for, taking home 34 titles with Malmö, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona FC, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Los Angeles Galaxy. Ibra has scored over 570 goals in his career, including over 500 at clubs, and has done so in each of the last four decades. Ibra has been named three times (2008, 2009, 2011) best player in the Italian Serie A and three times (2012, 2013, 2015) best player in the French Ligue 1. He was also Serie A's top scorer in 2009 and 2012, Ligue 1's top scorer in 2012, 2013 and 2015, and Sweden's all-time leading scorer.
