Chiara Gadda, deputy of the Italia Viva Group, presented the board game "Name in Code Ukraine" to facilitate learning and language integration among Ukrainian refugees (who number more than 168,000 in Italy, according to UNHCR data). "The toy is a very powerful lever in terms of social inclusion: our country, in recent months, has been engaged in welcoming so many people from Ukraine, and this game is important because it will allow the families, which are very numerous, and the third sector realities that have been involved in the reception, to promote through the game relationships," said Maria Chiara Gadda, at a press conference convened to present the project by Cranio Creations. Based on the understanding that play is a fundamental right for the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children and adolescents, "Code Name Ukraine" is distributed free of charge-through Cranio Stores and Città del Sole outlets-to associations involved in hosting Ukrainian refugees and to host families. "It is no coincidence that the game," Gadda continues, "is appearing more and more often in legislative initiatives. The game allows people to learn with serenity and, above all, to break down all kinds of barriers of culture, language, religion, disability: in short, an important tool and this is an initiative that declines corporate social responsibility".
