To train the physicians of the future through a practical and realistic experience that allows them to acquire fundamental clinical skills, deal with complex situations and improve decision-making skills in a controlled and safe environment. This is the goal of the SimLab Unina - the Advanced Educational Simulation Center created by Accurate, the only Italian company with research and development completely focused on simulation in medicine - which was inaugurated inside Building 2 of the School of Medicine of the Federico II University of Naples. The Unina SimLab, thanks to an integrated approach of all therapeutic areas and state-of-the-art technological equipment, stands as a reference hub in Southern Italy for professional training and clinical risk reduction. Students and residents can "test themselves" on a wide range of clinical cases, reinforcing live patient experiences during practical internship activities. Indeed, simulation is an educational approach that uses simulated scenarios and contexts to teach and improve the clinical skills of health care professionals. Students, therefore, through experiential learning, face clinical scenarios that require problem solving, decision making, and application of acquired theoretical knowledge.
