Luxy, an Italian company that specializes in the manufacture of design chairs, has opened a new display space in central Manhattan. Luxy, renowned for its provision of chairs for the G7 summit in Biarritz in 2019, has been manufacturing and exporting chairs for office spaces and common areas worldwide for many years. Luxy has made a concerted effort to increase its share of overseas revenue, which currently accounts for 60% of overall revenue. The showroom, located on the 22nd floor of a skyscraper near the Empire State Building, exhibits in a space of over 600 square meters its models of executive and multifunctional seating and tables, including the Cluster armchair, which was named the winner of Interior Design Magazine's Best of the Year Award in Manhattan in 2022. Luxy chairs are available in New York in well-known stores such as Michel Kors, Golden Goose, Net-a-Porter, and the many environs of the Stonewall National Monument in Greenwich Village. The Italian brand has also built a name for itself through charitable projects such as the donation of chairs to several New York public schools.
