Another blow to Chiara Ferragni. Safilo Group, a leading Made in Italy eyewear group, has announced the termination of its licensing agreement for the design, production and distribution of Chiara Ferragni-branded eyewear collections. This is the result, as read in a company note, "of breach of contractual commitments undertaken by the owner of the brand”. In recent days, the Antitrust Authority had sanctioned companies traceable to the influencer for more than 1 million and Balocco for 420,000 euros for unfair commercial practice, because - according to the Authority - they had made consumers understand that by buying the "designer" Ferragni pandoro they would contribute to a donation to the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin.
