The organization Centopercento animalisti has declared a forthcoming demonstration that will take place on Thursday before the Trento Regional Administrative Court. The court is tasked with evaluating the LAV's (the Anti-Vivisection League) proposal to transport bear JJ4 to a sanctuary in Romania, at the organization's own expense. The bear, which is presently housed at the Casteller Alpine Wildlife Recovery Center, is awaiting a culling order signed by the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento in response to the deadly attack on Andrea Papi, a twenty-six-year-old who was killed while running through the woods of Caldes in Val di Sole. The Regional Administrative Court referred the matter back to the European Court of Justice.
