Two cats crossing their tails to form a heart; two young people listening to music "wrapped" in the same headphones; a smiling cactus that waters itself: on Valentine's Day, the emotions enclosed in Baci Perugina's iconic silver wrapping will be conveyed not by classic quotes, but by the pop drawings of the illustrator Antonio Colomboni, who traces all the nuances of feelings through innovative illustrations contained in 23 different cartouches. Since 1922, each chocolate under the silver wrapping has been wrapped in a card bearing the phrase of a famous author: this year, for the first time in 102 years, the power of images - from the colored packaging to the drawings in the wrapping - will be used to convey messages of love on Valentine's Day. "Working on this project for me was like entering history: Baci has always conveyed emotions through the phrases of his cartouches, and being able to insert my drawings in their place makes me feel part of the revolution," Antonio Colomboni, who worked as an illustrator, says.
