In 2023, Fiat 500e confirmed its European leadership with outstanding results. Olivier Francois, CEO of FIAT and CMO Global of Stellantis, said, "Fiat 500e has once again confirmed its success, conquering the electric city car segment in Europe for the second consecutive year. The 500e has registered more than 185,000 units worldwide since its launch and is playing a relevant role in the green transition of international metropolises. The 500e is currently sold in 44 countries worldwide, continuing the brand's global electrification journey. We offer simple, intuitive and socially relevant solutions, always putting our customers' needs at the center". The success of Fiat's electric jewel is borne out by its brilliant sales results: since its launch in 2020, the 500e has been the best-selling electric city car in Europe and the Stellantis Group's best-selling electric car. Last year, the 500e was No.1 in Europe in the A+B BEV segment with a market share of 14.7 percent, up 0.3 p.p. from 2022, despite the segment's -5 percent decline. It also ranked first in Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Austria; second in France and fourth in Portugal and Poland. In Europe, the Fiat 500e sold nearly 65,000 units. Looking at the total BEV market, amid growing attention to environmental issues, in 2023 the 500e ranked first in Italy and Germany and fourth in France and Spain. Considering the BEV market in the 10 largest European markets, the Fiat 500e ranked fourth. Designed and manufactured in Turin, the 500e is a symbol of Italian creativity and is winning admirers of Made in Italy all over the world. Its success is also evidenced by its 42 international awards, making it the most awarded FIAT model ever. Last year, the Fiat 500e family was further expanded with a younger sister, the Topolino, and an older sister, the new 600e, to complete the Brand's electric offering and continue to pave the way for electrification.
