Rana Group ravioli, Barilla "bronze" fusilli, and Gelato Festival's "La Nocciola" dessert. On Monday, January 22nd, a banquet of exceptional caliber, entirely sourced from Italy, was hosted at the Mercato della Pescheria, situated within The Venetian, a renowned hotel in Las Vegas. Italian Cuisine is once again receiving attention four days after the launch of Axiom 3, a mission that descended from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral and introduced Italy's culinary prowess to space for the first time. Italian Cuisine is a candidate for Unesco's Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Italian culture and gourmet traditions were commemorated at the winter edition of the Fancy Food Show, North America's largest show dedicated to specialty food and beverages, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas. The UNESCO candidacy of Italian cuisine, which was introduced in March of the previous year at the initiative of the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida, and the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, and promoted at the Summer Fancy Food in New York, occupied a central position during the ICE Agency-organized event. The event was attended by 150 Italian and American dignitaries, institutions, entrepreneurs, and some Made in Italy champion products. The meal was attended by Matteo Zoppas, President of ICE, Raffaella Valentini, Consul General of Los Angeles, and Bill Lynch, President of the Specialty Food Association (organizer of the Fancy Food Show). The event was hosted in partnership with Cibus2024 and SFA-Universal Marketing to demonstrate the company's dedication to the agri-food sector and Italian businesses, as well as its collaboration with the American and Italian trade fair industries. Joe Bastianich, a well-known Italian-American chef and entrepreneur, also attended the event.
