The total number of pensions taking effect in 2022 was 865,948, for an average monthly amount at inception of 1,135 euros. Those taking effect in 2023 totaled 764,907, for an average amount of 1,140 euros. This was announced yesterday by INPS, pointing out that these values refer to old-age pensions, social allowances, early retirement pensions, disability pensions and survivors' pensions of the considered administrations. This is noted by the INPS Observatory on the Monitoring of Retirement Flows. Specifically, in terms of individual categories, pensions effective in 2022 were: 303,367 old-age pensions (including social allowances), 260,483 early retirement pensions, 53,747 disability pensions, and 248,351 survivor pensions. In 2023: 296,153 old age, 218,584 early retirement, 46,462 disability, and 203,708 survivors. Analyzing the individual managements, the FPLD totaled 376,753 pensions in 2022 and 327,558 in 2023; followed by the civil servants' management with 148,544 and 116,952, artisans (92,141 and 83,900, respectively), traders (82,140 and 73,503), parasubordinates (42,425 and 41,431), and direct cultivators, colonists and sharecroppers (39,872 and 33,024, respectively). Social security checks were 84,073 in 2022 and 88,539 in 2023.
