Adrian Appiolaza is the new creative director of Moschino. With a decade of experience behind him as women's ready-to-wear design director at Loewe alongside Jonathan Anderson and even earlier, in the same role, at Chloé with Clare Waight Keller, Appiolaza will oversee the women's, men's and accessories collections of the Aeffe Group fashion house, reporting to the company's Executive Chairman, Massimo Ferretti. The creative, who was born in Buenos Aires and moved to London to attend Central Saint Martins, will make his debut with the women's fall-winter 2024/25 collection, which will be shown on February 22 at the Permanent Museum at Milan Fashion Week. "We are happy and honored to welcome Adrian to the Aeffe family," Ferretti stressed. "With his arrival at Moschino, he brings with him a unique wealth of creativity and knowledge of fashion history that will enable him to write a wonderful new chapter in the brand's adventure”. Appiolaza will fill the role left vacant by the untimely death of Davide Renne.
