She was liked right from the first night, during the cover night she moved the audience like never before. In the end she convinced everyone: Angelina Mango, 2001, second in the last edition of the talent show "Amici”, where she triumphed in the "Singers" category, won the 74th Sanremo Festival with the song "La noia”. The song was written by herself with Madame and composed by the two singer-songwriters together with Dardust, who also took care of the production with E.D.D. A contemporary Mexican cumbia in which the Lucanian singer-songwriter plays with contrasts: starting with the fast-paced and energetic rhythm on which her voice moves in apparent contrast to the title. It had been ten years since a woman won at Sanremo (the last female victory was in 2014, when Arisa sang "Controvento"), and presenter Amadeus, who expected a pink podium, did not go too far: second place went to Geolier, third to Annalisa, who was also among the favorites from the beginning of the Festival. Thrilled and happy Angelina: "You are crazy, thank you so much to the orchestra, to you Amadeus, to Fiorello, to my team, to my mother, to my brother, to my family, thank you that you came," the 22-year-old artist said through tears. Daughter of singer-songwriter Pino Mango and Laura Valente, former lead singer of Matia Bazar, Angelina competed for the first time ever at the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival.
