Two religious fanatics have been arrested - along with the perpetrator, Giovanni Barreca - for the triple murder in Altavilla Milicia, in the province of Palermo. The two people apprehended on charges of participating in the murder of Barreca's wife and two children are charged with multiple murder and suppression of a corpse. From the outset, one of the investigative tracks beaten by investigators was that of a crime accrued because of Barreca's membership in religious groups or sects that could have led him to carry out the act. After all, Giovanni Barreca was a religious fanatic, and on one of his social profiles he had repeatedly quoted a self-proclaimed Bari hairdresser, an evangelical pastor, healer and exorcist who claimed to be able to cast out the devil.
