The Super Bowl is becoming increasingly popular among premium companies competing with halftime show performers. This year, the Italian design business Dolce&Gabbana gained a lot of attention by offering three looks to Usher. The singer wore a custom wool coat with a fake fur collar that was totally hand-embroidered with Swarovski crystals, pearls, and baroque designs, as well as 'Portofino' shoes and crystal and pearl-encrusted leather gloves. A custom asymmetrical bomber jacket adorned with a phoenix-shaped brooch set with rubies and diamonds topped off a pair of wool trousers that constituted the second look. They removed the bomber jacket, revealing a vest fully hand-embroidered with Swarovski crystals over a ribbed tank top. Furthermore, Dolce&Gabbana styled the band as well as Alicia Keys, who entertained the audience with songs like 'If I ain't had you' and 'My boo'. The artist wore a custom crimson suit with an organza cloak embellished with Swarovski crystals in a gradient design and train. Keys also wore a catsuit with corset detail and exposed boning completely embroidered in sequins and crystals.
