"The bridge over the Strait of Messina, wanted by Salvini, subtracts 14 billion euros from the South, which could have been destined for schools, roads, railways: we have filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office because too many documents are secreted and too many documents are not evaluated by citizens and parliamentarians, and this is a very serious problem of transparency". This is how Angelo Bonelli, leader of Verdi party, spoke yesterday at a press conference, together with PD secretary Elly Schlein and Sinistra Italiana secretary Nicola Fratoianni, explaining the expose signed by the three leaders and received last February 1 at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Rome. The complaint, among other things, highlights that "in practice, only a few hours elapsed between the signing of the deed of negotiation and the delivery of the report updating the project. How is it possible, one wonders, that the project update of such a massive work never built in the world was carried out in just a few hours?" The initiative of the three opposition forces was not joined by the Five Star Movement, another opposition party.
