Thanks to Nutella, but not only, Ferrero grows to 17 billion euros in revenues during 2023, with a 20.7% increase in sales and a 14% growth in the number of employees, a total of 47,212 employees worldwide. Driving the Alba-based giant is both organic growth (+14% in one year) and the consolidation of the latest acquisitions, which have entered the Ferrero International holding company. The Group led by Giovanni Ferrero and CEO Lapo Civiletti, in particular, has expanded its presence in North America. "Despite a year marked by a complex economic and geopolitical environment, the Ferrero group was able to continue its solid growth and consolidate its market share in all categories and geographies thanks to the resilience of its people, brands and business model," a note reads. The latest operations have also strengthened the industrial endowment, with 37 production facilities under assets, up from 32 in the previous year. In late January 2023, the group completed the acquisition of American Wells Enterprises Inc. with its portfolio of iconic brands including Blue Bunny, Blue Ribbon Classics, Bomb Pop and Halo Top. The deal also included four U.S. manufacturing plants, located in the states of Iowa, Nevada and New York.
