The historic Roman distillery Pallini, the only one still active in the capital since the early twentieth century, continues to grow: both in terms of turnover, surpassing 18 million euros in 2022 with an increase of +17% and thus reaching 21.5 million euros, and in terms of global expansion. Important milestones achieved, which are not, however, to be understood as points of arrival, on the contrary: there are many projects for 2024, first and foremost the restyling of Limoncello Pallini - which has become the world's best-selling premium limoncello - in a year in which the company will once again aim to expand further, consolidating markets in the US, Germany and the UK, as well as the Duty Free and Travel Retail segments. The company today is present in cocktail bars, restaurants and wine bars around the world with an offer of more than 100 products that includes syrups, bitters, a range of liqueurs for professional and domestic confectionery, and spirits. Abroad, Pallini today exports 85% of its sales to 58 countries: including Greece, Poland, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Paraguay, the Philippines, Cyprus and Brazil in the past year. Amaro Formidabile, the company's flagship bitter produced and bottled in the company's historical factories, which was launched outside the country's borders last year, recorded a 20% increase in sales; a handcrafted product with a complex taste, the result of 12 botanicals, well received especially in northern and northeastern European countries where the tradition of bitter products is well established, such as in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Balkans and Denmark. The goal for 2024 is to launch Amaro Formidable in the U.S. and German markets.
