After the resounding statements of French President Emmanuel Macron, who during an interview with French television networks had reiterated that he could not rule out sending troops to Ukraine, Italian Foreign Minister and Vice-Premier Antonio Tajani, when questioned on this issue on the program "Prima di domani" on channel Rete4, ruled out sending Italian troops to Ukraine. Tajani went on to explain that Italy wants peace: "We want there to be a negotiation, but we do not want to make war on Russia."
