Cinecittà, which Federico Fellini affectionately referred to as "my apartment," is currently undertaking renovations. The studios where renowned works of cinema, not just Italian, have been produced witness assessments of workers going between one outside scene and another. Along with the modernization of some of the old facilities, the NRRP has offered major funding for new research. With last year's revenue exceeding €45 million, an approximate 20% increase compared to the record-setting year of 2022, Cinecittà duly merits this accolade. An upward trend resulting from the advent of the new industrial and production era in 2021, which currently signifies a consistent occupancy rate of over 70 percent in theaters. The current objective is to remodel and improve the efficiency of all theatres, as well as digitalize the factories and expand production support services. The NRRP calls for the construction of five new studios, the renovation of four existing ones, and the rationalization of the backlot, resulting in Cinecittà having 25 active theaters and a 60% increase in production capacity from 18 thousand square meters today to 30 thousand available in 2026.
