London is the finest city in Europe. This is followed by Paris and Berlin. Rome ranks fourth. This is a snapshot of the annual report "Europe's Best Cities," created by the international consulting firm Resonance, which examines 180 European cities (metropolitan areas with more than 500 thousand inhabitants) through the lens of official statistics and resident and visitor opinions expressed on Tripadvisor, Google, Facebook, and Instagram. And what about the other Italian cities? Milan is ranked tenth, followed by Naples (26th), Florence (38th), Venice (57th), Turin (88th), and Bologna (99th). The score is based on three factors: "livability" (which includes beautiful landscapes, green spaces, cycle paths, and the possibility of outdoor experiences), "lovability" (culture, nightlife, restaurants, shopping, online reviews), and "prosperity" (residents' educational qualifications, employment, income, startups, and airport connections).
