Cafu is in trouble for a debt of more than 3 million euros. A Brazilian source says the former Roma and Milan defender must repay creditors 17.7 million Brazilian reais, which corresponds to about 3.3 million euros. It all started in 2019 with the bankruptcy of Capi Penta International Player, a company founded some 15 years earlier to manage the careers of agents and players in the soccer world. The heaviest of Cafu's debts is to a bank, Banco Industrial, to which he owes 777,000 euros. That is why, according to UoL, he will be forced to auction off the villa in Barueri (in the state of São Paulo), which has an estimated value of 7.4 million euros: an initial call will be made on April 4 and, if it does not sell, it will be auctioned off for half that amount.
