Pope Francis failed to give the homily he had prepared for Palm Sunday Mass. The Pontiff had a fatigued voice as he introduced the rituals. Following the Gospel reading, there was a period of silence before the Creed, which was delivered without the Holy Father's homily. The Holy Father then talked during the Angelus about the dreadful terrorist assault in Moscow, saying in a tired voice, "I assure you of my prayers for the victims of the cowardly attack the other evening. May the Lord welcome them all into his peace and console their families. Also, may he convert the hearts of those who safeguard, coordinate, and execute these abhorrent acts that violate the divine command to 'not kill'".
