A hole of almost 10 billion euros in the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan. There is a lack of 9 billion and 420 million to close the circle of the innovations introduced by the government with the recent decree law number 19 of 2024: in the face of higher expected expenditures of 22 billion and 740 million, necessary to support the RepowerEu program and to carry out new projects, in fact, the sums available, so far expressly identified, are only 13 billion and 320 million. The result is a negative balance of €9.42 billion: resources that have not yet been traced: a vulnus that runs the risk of jeopardizing the implementation of the entire NRRP. This is what emerges from a document by the Unimpresa Study Center, according to which the "hole" is in fact put in black and white by the government itself in the technical report accompanying the decree of March 2, 2024 number 19 now being examined by the Chamber of Deputies for the prescribed process of conversion into law. After last December's amendments, Unimpresa points out, the NRRP has risen to 194.4 billion and so far Italy has collected 112.5 billion equal to 58% of the total, but the missing objectives to be completed by 2026 are 63%, i.e. 387 out of a total of 617.
