Julia Bryan-Wilson, an American curator and professor at Columbia University; Alia Swastika, an Indonesian curator and writer; Chika Okeke-Agulu, a Nigerian curator and art critic; Elena Crippa, an Italian curator; and María Inés Rodríguez, a French-Colombian curator, will comprise the International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. The Jury was appointed by the Board of Directors of La Biennale di Venezia based on a recommendation from Adriano Pedrosa, Curator of the 60th Venice Film Festival. Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere is an exhibition that will run in Venice (Giardini and Arsenale) from April 20 to November 24. President Julia Bryan-Wilson teaches contemporary art and LGBTQ+ studies at Columbia University. Her curatorial projects include Cecilia Vicuña's About to Happen (with Andrea Andersson) and Louise Nevelson's Persistence. She has written several books, including Art Workers: Radical Practice in the Vietnam War Era, Fray: Art and Textile Politics (which won the ASAP Book Prize, the Frank Jewett Mather Award, and the Robert Motherwell Book Award), and Louise Nevelson's Sculpture: Drag, Color, Join, Face. Bryan-Wilson was a Guggenheim fellow.
