Rome's "La Sapienza" University achieves an excellent performance at the world level in the 2024 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject report, confirming the world record in the subject Classics and Ancient History with a score of 99.5, higher than last year, and the national record in as many as two subject areas, "Arts & Humanities" and "Natural Sciences", ranking 44th and 61st worldwide, respectively. Among the Italians, La Sapienza is the university with the greatest improvement, with an overall increase of 21%. The ranking, released yesterday, analyzes 55 subjects this year grouped into five broad subject areas. The Roman university is the Italian university most represented in the ranking with 47 subjects (last year there were 43), distributed in all 5 areas, for a total of 52 scores acquired.
