The Vicenza police arrested a 26-year-old worker while he was dismantling brickwork with a pneumatic drill. He was recognized by the agents as an Egyptian national in possession of a valid residence permit. The individual stated that he had performed labor on the construction site but had not been paid by the owner, despite numerous reminders. For this reason, after the umpteenth denial, he decided to dismantle the work he had previously completed. Meanwhile, a coworker of the worker had arrived at the building site and attempted to calm him down by explaining that he only needed to wait a few more days for payment, as the owner had informed him. Finally, the parties informed the police that they did not intend to pursue legal action at this time and were waiting for the situation to calm down.
