Antonio Conte is apparently preparing to return to the Premier League. According to La Repubblica, the Lecce coach is expected to receive a huge offer from Chelsea, with owner Todd Boehly considering him the top choice for the Blues bench next season. The Salento coach, who was dismissed from Tottenham in March 2023 and is currently sidelined, eagerly anticipates his return to the profession. Conte has been connected with Milan, Napoli, and Juventus in Italy, but nothing substantial has yet emerged, while talks with Chelsea are already underway: the Lecce coach won the Premier League with the London team in 2017, but the team has yet to win a national trophy since. Conte would have a significant budget in London to enter the market, as well as a high pay for himself and his staff. AC Milan and Napoli are losing ground: Conte has waited a long time for the Rossoneri, who do not appear interested in the out-of-reach deal despite market demands. The Azzurri have come forward multiple times, but Conte wants to win right away, and the offer from London piques his interest. Nothing to do for Juventus, who appear to be focused on Thiago Motta.
