Thirty-six thousand people will be evacuated to allow Army specialists to detonate a World War II bomb in Viterbo tomorrow, May 7, a Tuesday already dubbed "bomb-day" by the locals. The war device, weighing 4,000 pounds (2,000 kg), belongs to the category of aircraft bombs, notably the British MIK IV variant. Its presence in the City of the Popes was discovered on March 20, 2018, while working on a building site in Via Alcide De Gasperi. The security machine was engaged immediately, and the gadget was secured.
