Family tragedy in Cianciana, in the province of Agrigento. A 35-year-old man stabbed his wife and children and, after getting them out of the house, barricaded himself inside the home. After several hours, the 35-year-old man arrested himself. The condition of the two little brothers, 3-year-old Sarah and 7-year-old Cristian, who were transported by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Palermo and admitted to intensive care, is very serious. The man’s wife, Anetha, of Polish origin, was also hospitalized and underwent surgery: she would not be in life-threatening danger. The older son underwent a very delicate surgery: one of the stab wounds delivered to his chest by his father allegedly grazed his heart. His younger sister, intubated and with a brain hemorrhage, is also in desperate condition.
