Kuwait City - The President of the National Civil Aviation Authority, Pierluigi Di Palma, and General Director Alessio Quaranta received a delegation from the Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority, led by General Director Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi and Aviation Security Director Fahad S. Al-Anzi.
The meeting was requested by the Kuwaiti authority to sign a technical cooperation agreement between the two countries, focusing particularly on security aspects in cargo air transport. “Kuwait's request,” stated ENAC President Di Palma, “is further confirmation of the significance of Italy’s role, and ENAC’s, in the international cooperation arena and opens new economic growth opportunities for the national aviation sector.” “International cooperation agreements,” said DG Quaranta, “are crucial components in building a global, harmonized, and shared approach to sector development.”
Also present at the meeting were ENAC Deputy General Director Fabio Nicolai, Central Director for International Relations, Security, and Research Giovanna Laschena, Security Director Sebastiano Vecci, and Valeria Del Sordo from the General Director’s staff. (9colonne)
