There is renewed interest in AC Monza, the club owned by the Berlusconi family - controlled through the Fininvest holding company - that is about to begin its third season in Serie A. After the failed negotiations with the Italian fund Orienta Capital Partners, new investors are ready to come forward to try to take possession of the Lombard club. According to market sources, a group of American entrepreneurs from Texas has come forward in recent days, interested in taking over the majority of the soccer club. At the moment, there is no official negotiation, but some sources point out that the overseas entrepreneurs have begun talks with the shareholder, testing the ground for a possible deal. Confidentiality is at a maximum and it is still too early to understand what direction the discussions will take, but according to leaks, the Americans would like to try to buy the majority of the company. But how much could Monza be worth on the market? According to rumors that emerged when the negotiations with Orienta were open, the latter would have wanted to buy 70% (leaving Fininvest the remaining 30%) for around 70 million euros, thus valuing the club - in terms of enterprise value - at 100 million euros.
