Jannik Sinner is the first Italian ever to win the US Open men's final. The world number one, after winning the Australian Open, captured his second Slam playing against Taylor Fritz. The victory on U.S. soil guarantees him his 16th career title, to break through the 11,000-point threshold in the ATP rankings, and to win a record prize that further adds to his millionaire fortune. The South Tyrolean tennis player, who by reaching the final had already secured $1.8 million, has earned about $3.6 million, but in his career so far he has already earned more than $24 million in prizes alone. However, prizes represent only a marginal share of his overall earnings. Weighing on his wealth are mainly sponsorships, to which TV appearances are added, which touched $20 million in 2023. Forbes calculated at $38.4 million (before taxes and agent commissions) the 2023 receipts, between prizes from tournaments won by the champion, born in San Candido and raised in Sesto Pusteria, ($13.4 million) and sponsorships and TV appearances (another $25 million).
