Jannik Sinner cannot yet breathe a sigh of relief. In fact, the time for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to appeal against the acquittal of the Italian, No. 1 in the ATP rankings, decided by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) after his positivity to minimal amounts of Clostebol found in two checks in March, has not yet expired. WADA, in fact, requested additional documentation from the ITIA related to the Sinner case decision, and a subsection of Article 13.2 of the WADA Anti-Doping Code, 13.2.3.5, grants the agency the option of running the 21 days within which to appeal from the time it received the additional documentation.
