An accident on the Frohburg Dreieck road circuit in Germany was fatal to Luca Salvadori. The 32-year-old rider from Milan was killed in an accident on the first lap of the qualifying session reserved for SBK/STK 1000s of the sixth and final round of the IRRC (International Road Race Championship), which is held mainly in central European countries. The accident occurred due to contact with German Didier Grams in the very early stages of practice but its dynamics are still to be ascertained. Transported to the hospital, Luca died from the severity of his injuries.
