One in four Italians (25%) practice sustainable tourism, with a trend driven by the growing awareness of respect for the environment and the need to reduce energy consumption, focusing at the table on zero km, the Mediterranean Diet and organic, but also choosing "green" accommodations. These are the insights contained in the Coldiretti/Noto Surveys report presented yesterday. If the percentage of Italian tourists who choose sustainable vacations has practically doubled in the space of the last ten years (from 12% to 25 %), sensitivity to individual aspects of the vacation is also growing. Nearly six out of ten Italians (59%) say they pay attention to making choices that do not harm the environment when planning their vacation, from the destination to the means of travel, to the type of facility to be booked.
