"We are all anxious about the future of Europe". Former Prime Minister Mario Draghi said this when presenting his report on EU competitiveness to the European Parliament plenary in Strasbourg. "My concern is not that we will suddenly find ourselves poor and subservient to others," he added, “but it is that over time we will inexorably become a less prosperous, less equitable, less secure place and that, as a result, we will be less free to choose our own destiny”.
