The 22nd edition of Pitti Fragranze, the Pitti Immagine exhibition that is dedicated to the world of international artistic perfumery, concluded at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence. The event attracted nearly 1,700 buyers from 50 countries, a 5% increase from the previous year, and 215 exhibiting brands, 74% of which were from abroad. A segment, niche fragrances, which globally comprises 10% of alcoholic perfumery and 2% of the cosmetics market. In the Italian market, it achieved significant growth, with a turnover of 310 million euros last year, accounting for 2.7% of the overall beauty company and nearly a quarter of fragrance sales. "During the three days of Fragranze - says Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine - exhibitors and buyers came from far away, to scout for new brands and discover the latest developments of those of guidance, perceive trends, listen to the protagonists and the most innovative prospects of the moment”. France remains at the top of the list of Pitti Fragranze's reference markets, followed by Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Turkey, Israel, Bulgaria, and the UAE.
