The World Bubble Challenge is held in London and is known as the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships. A contest including a thousand bottles from 20 countries competing for gold and silver medals. The 2024 edition of Trentino sparkling wine was exceptional, with 73 medals, 29 golds and 44 silvers. A record. Never before has the London competition honored Trentino's mountain bubbles with so many golds (Italy leads the medal standings with 70 golds, ahead of France, Australia, Spain, and the United Kingdom). For more than eleven years, the London competition has identified the world's greatest bubble manufacturers. "But every year", according to the organizers, "the tournament brings forth new regions and new producers. The medal wines are from major and small producers, private firms and cooperatives, long-established winemakers and those that have lately entered the market. In recent years, a surge of organic growers has emerged". There are 26 Trentino wineries that have won at least one medal. Ferrari is currently in the lead, with a record-breaking 13 golds and 5 silvers. This includes non-vintage wines such as Ferrari Brut, as well as the Maximum and Perlé lines, as well as the Ferrari Riserva Lunelli and Giulio Ferrari.
