The Prefecture of Milan ordered that Milan's public prosecutor, Paolo Storari, be kept under police protection. Storari, a deputy of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, is in charge of the Milan and Inter curve files, along with his colleague Sara Ombra and deputy Alessandra Dolci. This inquiry found linkages between organized supporters and the ndrangheta in the management of illicit trafficking both inside and outside of the San Siro stadium. Last Monday, the probe resulted in the implementation of 19 preventive measures, including prison and house arrest. For a period of at least six months, Storari will be protected by a fourth-level police protection, which includes a car with one or two armed agents.
