A century of history marked by the greatest quality cashmere, extra-fine wool, vicuna, and alpaca for luxury products. Loro Piana celebrates its first hundred years with enthusiasm and quality, pursuing, as it has always done, a single goal: “Looking for the finest quality without compromising on money. Because this is our actual luxury”, adds Pier Luigi Loro Piana, also known as Pigi, the brand's vice president, purchased in 2013 by LVMH, the French luxury center. He and his brother Sergio, who is recognized internationally as a "master of elegance, a brilliant and charismatic man”, have created Loro Piana, a leading "made in Italy" company of unparalleled refinement, both in terms of the weaving of more valuable raw materials than clothing, as well as accessories and furnishing products. The company, situated in Quarona, Piedmont, was and remains so tightly structured that it has retained its mission and organization even after being acquired by LVMH. “In fact, their objective was to not modify anything and continue along the lines of tradition”, remembers Pier Luigi Loro Piana. When Pietro Loro Piana established the business in 1924, it was known as "Ing. Loro Piana & C”. Loro Piana currently has 170 outlets throughout the world.
