The "2024 Caruso Prize" award event was conducted at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York to commemorate Enrico Caruso's 150th birth anniversary. The new edition of the prize, conceived by Dante Mariti and produced by Melos International, has arrived in New York following previous editions in Sorrento. "This award is an opportunity to award recognition to various Italian excellences - declares Mariti - distinguished in different sectors such as opera, social, art, made in Italy, both in America and in the world" . This year, among others, the young tenor Alessandro Lora, Fabio Armiliato, famous for his participation in the film "To Rome With Love" by Woody Allen, professor Fabio Finotti, actor Gianni Russo, appreciated for his role in the "Godfather", the journalist Biagio Maimone, the Metropolitan Opera, Rosario Procino, the superintendent of the Carolina Opera Shantè Williams.
