The 39-year-old ex-wife of a Guardia di Finanza officer who was the victim of a March 21, 2023 car bombing in Bacoli, Naples, has been arrested. The investigation, coordinated by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, indicates that the woman was allegedly behind the attempted murder of the man. To carry out the plan, she allegedly enlisted the cooperation of two men: a 46-year-old man and the latter's 32-year-old son-in-law, who allegedly helped prepare the device detonated under the officer's car. The judge placed the two accomplices under house arrest. The woman allegedly planned the act with premeditation, driven by a desire to resolve conflicts that arose during the separation, especially regarding custody of their son, who was about 2 years old at the time of the events. The two former spouses had already denounced each other because of these tensions
