An agreement has been reached to extend Italy's hosting of the ATP Finals until 2030. The competition from Saudi Arabia, which recently secured hosting rights for the WTA Finals through 2026 (currently underway in Riyadh with a record prize pool of $14 million), appears to have been overcome. The new agreement outlines a rotation between Turin and Milan after 2025, following the conclusion of the current contract. The specific arrangement is still under discussion; one option is to hold the event in Turin for one or two more years before moving to Milan until 2030. However, following the 2026 Games, the venue for the ATP Finals, where the eight tennis champions compete, could move to Milan’s new arena, which is slated to host ice hockey games during the upcoming Winter Olympics. The relocation would allow for 16 thousand seats instead of 12 thousand at Turin's Inalpi Arena, as well as the activation of all fashion and lifestyle circuits in the Lombard capital. The ATP has requested a larger cost to renew the deal. It is predicted to increase from $18 million to over $30 million. The overall prize money for this edition has already climbed from $15 million to $15.25 million (the tournament champion will receive $4.8 million if he remains unbeaten in all five games), and it is projected to rise significantly to more than $25 million.
