A 15-year-old boy was arrested at dawn by the anti-terrorism section of the Digos of the Bolzano Police Headquarters on charges of belonging to a Satanist and neo-Nazi supremacist group. The arrest followed a pre-trial detention order issued by the Bolzano Juvenile Court. The youth is charged with participation in association for the purpose of terrorism, manufacture and use of explosive devices, illegal carrying of weapons, aggravated damage, and possession and dissemination of child pornography. The investigation began following monitoring activities by Digos, which led to a search of the boy's home, where two computers, a smartphone, and an axe were seized, as well as material confirming his membership in an extremist group. Although his activities were not related to the "South Tyrolean Question", the young man was active on Telegram channels and owned a Bitcoin wallet. His membership in an international neo-Nazi group brought to light a terrorist plan, in which members of the group were planning a violent action, which included murdering a vulnerable victim, videotaping the act, and posting the video on a dark web site.
