In a 2024 that - from a financial point of view - has seen luxury slow down, Prada buoyed by the exploits of Miu Miu, manages to ring in a series of results that exceed market expectations. Not only does it file the fiscal year with figures above analysts' estimates, but it also beats the luxury giants of luxury, Hermès in the first place, in terms of growth performance. In 2024, in fact, net revenues reached 5.4 billion euros, an advance of 15%, "well above the market average," according to the group's note. Barclays analysts had expected a 14% increase. Instead, in the fourth quarter alone, turnover increased by 18%, management points out. Group profitability was also solid. Net income increased significantly by as much as 25 percentage points to 839 million euros. "We are pleased to see that our strategy continues to generate above-average market performance, despite the challenging industry environment," commented Patrizio Bertelli, Prada Group Chairman and Executive Director.
