Jannik Sinner has confirmed his participation in the Hamburg Open, scheduled from May 17 to 24, to fine-tune his preparation ahead of Roland Garros. The world's top-ranked player, who has not competed since the Australian Open, will make his debut on the Rothenbaum court, adding to the already high-caliber tournament that will also feature Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune, Andrey Rublev, and Gael Monfils. Sinner's return will begin on May 5 at the Internazionali d'Italia in Rome, followed by an appointment in Germany before the start of the French Open on May 25. The Italian will be the first player since Roger Federer in 2008 to compete in Hamburg as world number one. "I'm eager to make my debut at the Hamburg Open, an event with a long history. I can't wait to play and finally see the city", Sinner remarked.
