WBSC Europe has officially awarded the organization of the Blind Baseball European Championship 2025 to the Italian Baseball Softball Federation (FIBS) and the University of Messina's S.S.D. Unime. The event will be held at the Primo Nebiolo Baseball Stadium in October, with dates yet to be determined. The first edition of the European Baseball Championship for the Blind was held in 2023 in Bologna, with the participation of five national teams - France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands - and saw Italy graduate as champion.
